Lock the apps. Give a friend the key.
BuddyLock uses Apple's Screen Time to lock the apps that pull you away from studying. When you really need a break, a friend gives you a one-time code. No code, no unlock.

How it works
1. Pick the apps
Choose apps, categories or websites with Apple's own picker. BuddyLock never sees their names.
2. Lock for a while
Lock now for 15 minutes to 2 hours, or set weekly study times. The shield has no unlock button.
3. Ask a friend for a code
Need one app back? Send your friend a request. They open a short web page and read you a six-digit code. They don't need the app or an account.
4. Back on track
The code opens only the apps you chose, for up to 15 minutes. Then they lock again by themselves.
While you're locked
Lock more apps
Add apps to a running lock. They stay locked until the same time. Apps can't be removed mid-lock.
Extend
Add 15, 30 or 60 minutes. A lock can only get longer, never shorter.
Emergency exit
For real emergencies: three times in 30 days, after a short wait.
Honest by design
No account, no ads, no tracking. Locking is free. BuddyLock can't make a lock impossible to undo: iOS still lets you turn off Screen Time access or delete the app. It puts the next step in a friend's hands.
